Environmental conference “Earth is a teardrop on the cheek of the Universe”

An environmental conference“Earth is a teardrop on the cheek of the Universe” was held on April 24 at the Central Library of Chistopol Municipal District. The event was intended for the pupils of 3rd forms of the Secondary School No. 1 and an environmental crew “Cadet Eco-patrol” was held by the fellow workers of Volga-Kama Territorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Participants were told about natural reserves of Tatarstan, and quizzes were conducted. The children shared their knowledge on trees, mushrooms and plants.
At the end of the conference, the team of “Chistopol Municipal Central Library” was awarded with a Certificate of Merit ofVolga-Kama Territorial Departmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for taking active part in ecological events devoted to the Year of Environment-oriented Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
