Exhibition-installation “Metropolis” of an artist Vladimir Seleznev (Yekaterinburg) is held at the center “Hermitage Kazan”. Installation is a composition made of consumption waste, namely plastic and glass bottles, cardboard boxes and plastic package. In the daylight the composition looks like a pile of rubbish, but when the lights are out, when projectors illuminate the elements of installation covered with phosphorescent compound, we see the picture of illuminated city. Two lighting regimes demonstrate the contrast of what is real and what is delusive.
