In the framework of citizens’ addresses to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on air pollution with discharges of“CemMarket” CJSC, the territory located in Kazan on 8 Khalitova str. was inspected together with companies’ representatives in the course of cement discharge from rail cars to the sites of storage and loading into motor transport.

In the course of administrative investigation it was revealed that harmful substances (pollutants) were discharged into the air from the territory of “CemMarket” CJSC without authorization, and the rules for operation of facilities

Today, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the XXXIII All-Russian large-scale ski race“Ski track-2015”.It started in Kazan in the camp “Solnechny” of Zalesny village. VIP runs, large-scale start of the citizens of Kazan districts, a race of students of higher and secondary specialized educational establishmentstook place there.

Moreover, the “Ski track-2015” took placein thepark belt on Dubravnaya street in the Volga district and the Birchwood in Derbyshki village of the Sovietsky district.

On February 5, 2015 the Headof the Department for the State Ecological Surveillance under theFederal Service for the Supervision of Natural Resources, Natalya Sokolova, conducted a lesson for the pupils of the children’s teaching block of the Raifa Monastery together with representatives of the Department of theFederal Service for the Supervision of Natural Resources for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Natalya Sokolova told the pupils how important it is to take care of nature. Moreover, the film on the impact of waste on the environment and human lifewas demonstrated.

The 2nd All-Russian contest of youth creative projects on the use of renewablesources of energy in the urban environment “Energy of knowledge” is held in Moscow.

• Unconventional ideas.

Citizens of the Russian Federation under 35 years of age are invited to participate.

The International Project “Ecological culture. Peace and consent” is implemented in Moscow by the Ecological fund named after V.I. Vernadsky, the International Ecological Public Organization “GREENLIGHT”and the Interregional Ecological Public Organization “GREENLIFE”.The project is aimed at revelation of developed projects and ideas that imply practical importance for formation and development of ecological culture of population of theRussian Federation.
The project is implemented in the following categories:
1. Ecological education.
2. Ecological upbringing and enlightenment.
3. Preservation of biodiversity and landscape sanitation.
4. Ecological culture in industry and energetics.
5. Mass media and ecological culture.
6. Health ecology.
7. Ecological culture of social initiatives.

The All-Russian contest“Ecological education and enlightenment” started in Kemerovo.Teachers of lower grades, subject teachers, teachers of special education, teachers of further education, preschool teachers, school counselors, students of primary, secondary and professional educational establishments are invited to participate.

Kazan Children’s Ecological and Biological Center together with the State Autonomous Establishment of Further Education “Republican Olympiad Center” under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstanannounced the start of the Republican contest “Second life of a package”. Educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan can participate in it. The project is aimed at extensive advocacy of a healthy lifestyle among pupils of educational establishments, as well as formation of healthy lifestyle habits in the young generation. The event will be held in the following categories: “Sewing pattern”, “Toy”, and “Arrangement”. The organizers intend for the participants to send crafts, photographs, posters, essays and costumes made from recyclables.Contest materials will be accepted until March 1, 2015.

The International Youth Ecological Expo Contest “We are for Peace” started in Omsk in the framework of the ecological project “ECO”. The contest is held in two categories: leaflets and drawings.
