A claim was raised against “CemMarket” CJSC forunauthorized discharge of pollutants into the air

In the framework of citizens’ addresses to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on air pollution with discharges of“CemMarket” CJSC, the territory located in Kazan on 8 Khalitova str. was inspected together with companies’ representatives in the course of cement discharge from rail cars to the sites of storage and loading into motor transport.

In the course of administrative investigation it was revealed that harmful substances (pollutants) were discharged into the air from the territory of “CemMarket” CJSC without authorization, and the rules for operation of facilities and equipment meant for gas purification and control of discharge of harmful substances (pollutants) into the air were violated. Moreover, no registered certificates were submitted for dust and gas collection equipment. Administrative cases were initiated against “CemMarket” CJSC under Article 8.21 part 1 (Discharge of harmful substances into the air or harmful physical impact thereonwith no special authorization), article 8.21 part 3 (Violation of operation regulations, non-use of facilities, equipment or hardware forgas purification and control of discharge of harmful substances into the air that might lead to its pollution, or the use of non-serviceable indicatedfacilities, equipment or hardware) of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

By the court decision, a ruling was given on administrative prosecutionof “CemMarket” CJSC and imposition of punishment in the form of administrative suspension of activity for 40 days.
