The Meeting of the Final Boardof the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan and the Departmentof the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage was held in Kazan

The Meeting of the Final Boardof the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Departmentof the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan was held today in Kazan with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov and it was devoted to the results of work in 2014 and the tasks for 2015.The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, and Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan for the Republic of Tatarstan, Farit Khayrutdinov,made the main reports.Text of the report made by the Ministry of Ecology is available at the Ministry’s website “Press Service – Official reports”. When evaluating the work of nature protection authorities, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, acknowledged that the activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstanis highly appraised at the federal level: “The system established in the Republic, experts and laboratory and technical equipmentat the disposal of authoritiesallow to monitor in the online mode the whole situation in order to make appropriate decisions”. The President emphasized the necessity to proceed with strengthened efforts in the field of ecological education and enlightenment. Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov set the task to ensure sanitary and ecological safety of Kazan in the course of theXVI World Championship for Aquatics sports this year, laying emphasis on the successful work that was carried out during preparation and holding of the Universiade in2013.The events carried out in the framework of the Year of Parks and Square Gardens will promote creation of comfortable environment, emphasized the President.
