A helicopter over-flight was carried out today across districts of the Republic of Tatarstan to reveal violations of the nature protection legislation. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, together with the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan – Chief State Inspector for Nature Protection, Ramil Nizamov, and Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry, Ilkham Sabirov, inspected the territories of Kazan, Zelenodolsk, Verkhny Uslon, Vysokaya Gora, Pestretsy and Laishevo municipal units of the Republic of Tatarstan. All in all, 20 violations were revealed in the course of the over-flight including quarry development in Zelenodolsk and Pestretsy districts of the Republic, whereby the measures of administrative influence have been implemented.
