Inspectors of the Trans-Volga Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid around Buinsk in the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. An inconspicuous, quiet place on Rakhimova str. in Moscovsky district of Kazan. It is its solitude that attracted attention of the organizers of an illegal landfill. Tons of construction waste were located on the territory of 22 thousand square meters in area. It was the offender who helped identify the unauthorized waste placement site. In the course of a night raid, a KAMAZ truck loaded with waste attracted attention of inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology - it was leaving the territory of a nonfunctional tramway depot in Aviastroitelny district. After following it, ecological specialists found out that the waste was stored illegally. Fellow workers of the Northern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan visited Local history museum "Druzhba narodov" of Baltasi district on the threshold of the International Day of Museums. The tour was held by the Museum founder, the Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Garifzyan Galiev. He told that the museum had been created in 1965 on the basis of a collection of written and physical materials including about 1,000 exhibits. Currently, the museum features more than 5 thousandexhibits. The contemporary museum has 9 exposition halls: the Great Patriotic War, Pre-revolutionary period and the Civil War, as well as the halls of archeology, ethnography, agriculture, nature of the motherland and etc. Ecological specialists paid special attention to the hall 'Nature of the motherland" featuring the exhibits of flora and fauna of the motherland
