The VI All-Russian Festival of pedagogical ideas on ecological education was held in Zelenodolsk in the framework of the International program "Eco-school/Green flag"

"Life ecology is in your hands!". The IV all-Russian Festival of pedagogical ideas on ecological education was held today in Zelenodolsk in the framework of the International program "Eco-school/Green flag" under this slogan. It was carried out at nursery No. 11 "Antoshka" of Zelenodolsk district. Coordinator of the International Program "Eco-school/Green flag" in Russia, Olga Madison, Expert of the Educational Policy Board under the Educational Committee of St. Petersburg, Svetlana Marchuk, Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology, Vasily Demyanov, Leading specialist of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology  and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova, participated in the event. "The work on development of ecological culture should be started at pre-school, when the foundation of perception of the surrounding world is formed. During this period it is very important to define correctly the knowledge on nature, engage in adequate nature protection activity, promote diminution of aggression towards wildlife objects, development of aesthetic understanding of beauty of the surrounding world and the feeling of compassion and empathy - all that forms the foundation of the ecological mindset of a child. These elements of the ecological culture are acquired not only through ecological knowledge, but also through moral development of a person. Active position of children features the degree of ecological educatedness of the young generation", acknowledged Elena Gilmizyanova. She urged all mentors and teachers to participate in the All-Russian ecological children's festival "Holiday of eco-pupils - Young nature protectors" that will be held on June 4-5 in all constituent units of the Russian Federation.

The following reports were presented during the festival:

- "The role of social partnership with public ecological organizations when working with a family";

- "Value orientation of the modern ecological education of pre-schoolers";

- "Interaction of a nursery with a family when it comes to ecological education";

- "Community of parents and teachers in the framework of implementation of the international program "Eco school/Green flag" and etc.

                The aim of the event is to present and generalize the experience of educational institutions in the context of studying of the environmental problems and practical participation in their solution, as well as presentation of the system of working of educational institutions on ecological education and upbringing of children.
