25 August 2021, Wednesday

As part of the weekly inspection of objects where environmental protection measures are being carried out, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky visited three districts of the republic. The trip was made to the Sabinsky, Kukmor districts and Mamadysh together with the Deputy General Director of the Fund for Investment Development of Territories Ruslan Hajiyev.

In Mamadysh, representatives assessed the progress of work on clearing the tributary of the Vyatka River within the framework of the federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies". It is planned to clean more than 3 km of the riverbed at the water facility until 2022, thereby improving the living conditions of about 16 thousand people. The participants of the trip also visited the Oshma River, where clearing and dredging is being carried out. To date, shrubby vegetation is being cut down and bottom sediments are being removed here.

In the Kukmor district, the village of Lubyany, the delegates visited a section of the Vyatka River, where it is necessary to carry out shore protection works in order to protect the population from flooding during the spring flood.

The last point of the detour was the Sabinsky district, the village of Shemordan. Here they examined the completed object for the reclamation of oil-polluted land, which was restored last year as part of the federal project "Clean Country" of the national project "Ecology". The district plans to include a second similar site on Zavodskaya Street in this reclamation program.
