These are the results of the voluntary clean-up held on the territory of the state nature reserve of regional significance "Mount Lobach". The event was organized within the framework of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the "Ecology" national project.

Representatives of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan, divers of the underwater research group named after A. A. Leonov, public organizations and enterprises, the district administration, as well as local residents carried out cleaning of the territory and the adjacent underwater part of the Volga River in the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. The action took place in 3 stages and occupied a huge area.
Activists cleaned the embankment at the pier and the territory of Mount Lobach itself, and divers cleaned the bottom of the Volga River at the foot of the mountain. "We mostly collected old barbecues, empty plastic bottles and a lot of disposable wet wipes," the volunteers said.

After cleaning, all the participants joined together near the banks of the Volga River to listen to a lecture by diver Maxim Astakhov about the difficulties and charms of underwater activities. At the end of the event, the participants were able to enjoy delicious lamb-and-rise stew against the background of an endless river and a majestic mountain.

"Mount Lobach" is a nature reserve and there are certain rules that people, for some reason, violate. Everything seems to be clean, but if you look into the forest or behind a bush, the bags are collected by themselves, " Andrey Agarkov, Deputy Chairman of the RGS in the Republic of Tatarstan, told the participants of the action.
