A large quarry was stopped by environmentalists in the Mamadyshsky district
The fact of illegal extraction of common useful minerals was revealed and stopped by the employees of the State Inspectorate of Environmental Supervision during the monitoring of the Mamadyshsky district. The "Black diggers" were caught on the spot at the time of clay extraction. The work was carried out with the use of special equipment. Environmentalists demanded documents from the excavator driver, but the driver refused to fulfill the legal requirements of the inspectors.
According to environmentalists, the company that carried out mining operations at this site did not previously transfer land from the agricultural category to industrial land, and therefore the license for mining was previously suspended.
Together with law enforcement officers, measurements were made of the boundaries of the quarry development, the total area of the extracted common useful minerals was more than 19 thousand square meters, the volume was about 98 thousand cubic meters. This violation entails a fine for an official from 20 to 40 thousand rubles, for a legal entity from 300 thousand to 500 thousand rubles under part 2 of Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, the damage caused to the environment will also be calculated. The materials were transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Mamadysh municipal district.
