The First Deputy Minister - Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Environmental Protection Airat Shigapov heard the results of supervisory activities for the first half of 2021 and the main tasks that the territorial administration sets for the current year. We recall that the department carries out environmental supervision on the territory of 6 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan: these are Apastovsky, Buinsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky and Tetyushsky districts.
The head of the territorial department, Nikolay Vasin, said that during the 255 inspections carried out, 235 violations of environmental legislation were revealed, of which 82% have been eliminated to date. Fines were imposed for a total amount of 1 million 342 thousand 500 rubles.
Over the past period, the specialists of the SIAC of the Zavolzhsky TA took 84 water samples at 8 public water bodies, performed about 1700 analyzes. As part of the geological supervision, 9 violations were detected, most of which were violations of license conditions. For these facts, the perpetrators were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art.7.3 The Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
The priority tasks for the current year are identified by the Zavolzhsky TA – identification and suppression of the facts of dumping of production and consumption waste, unauthorized mining, wastewater discharge, ensuring free access of citizens to public water facilities and patrolling water protection zones.
