"Week of collecting batteries" campaign has started
Residents of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny will be able to hand over used batteries, accumulators, power banks, cell phones and other mobile electronics. The organizer of the "Battery collection Week" campaign is Duracell Russia, OOO.
In Naberezhnye Chelny, the reception of batteries is carried out at the address: Naberezhnye Chelny, Avtozavodsky Ave., 62, parking of the shopping center until July 5.
In Kazan, the collection week will be held from July 6 to 12, everyone will be able to hand over the batteries at the address: Kazan, Kopylova str., 1B, parking of the shopping center.
Spent chemical current sources belong to the 1st hazard class of household garbage. They contain tin, mercury, zinc, magnesium, nickel, cadmium, lead, and one finger battery can pollute from 10-15 square meters of soil or 400 liters of water.
Let us remind you that in 2019, an agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Duracell Russia, OOO, within the framework of which a competition was organized to collect spent current sources in general education organizations. For 3 years, students handed over more than 73 tons of batteries for recycling.
