Federal Environmental Operator starts testing GIS for accounting and control over waste management of I and II hazard classes in Tatarstan

In accordance with the roadmap for the implementation of a pilot project in the Republic of Tatarstan the necessary production facilities have been created for handling mercury-containing waste of hazard classes I and II on the basis of the Kazan branch of the “Privolzhsky Territorial District” branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Federal Environmental Operator”.

From August 24, 2020 subjects involved in management of this category of waste, are invited to test the modules of the state information system for accounting and control over the handling of mercury-containing waste.
