Walls flattening, bottom backfilling and perennial grass seeding. A number of works on recultivationof 9 “wild pits” were carried out in Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk districts during the year. About 75 thousand square meters of fertile landwere restored. Inspectors of South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources repeatedly identified unauthorized wastes disposal and illegal mining of widespread mineral deposits at these sites.
