Ensuring the functioning of the territorial system for monitoring the environment state, implementation of the systems of summary calculations of atmospheric air pollution in Tatarstan, material and technical resources and information technologies in the work of Tatarstan environmentalists – these and other topics were discussed today by the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and the Minister of Ecology of the Chelyabinsk Region Irina Gladkova. The greatest interest of the head of the Chelyabinsk environmental protection agency was caused by the territorial system for monitoring of the environment state of the Republic of Tatarstan. “This system of monitoring the environment state of the republic consists of 8 modern stationary eco-analytical laboratories, 16 automatic air pollution control stations, 6 mobile environmental laboratories, patrol ecological analysis vessel Flamingo, and 3 boats. It includes observations of the state of atmospheric air, soils, and water bodies. Observations of the state of atmospheric air are carried out in the country at 123 points with more than 2 million analyzes per year, by a number of pollutants, the control is being carried out continuously in an automatic mode,” – Farid Abdulganiev noted. Within the framework of the working visit, the Minister of the Chelyabinsk Region Irina Gladkova got acquainted with the work of mobile and stationary environmental monitoring posts, in particular, with the first mobile laboratory in Russia and Tatarstan equipped with a chromatography-mass spectrometry complex, which allows to determine more than 100 thousand pollutants in the atmospheric air. The complex provides an opportunity to quantify 43 polluting indicators, as well as a qualitative analysis of more than 100 thousand pollutants in the ambient air.
