Eco-festival “Awakening” in Aksubaevo

The third ecological festival “Awakening” was held in Aksubaevo. It has become a traditional annual family holiday in the region that attracts a large number of visitors, adults and children. The event was attended by specialists from the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the festival, the ceremony of dedicating the young generation to ecologists and awarding winners of regional environmental competitions with special gifts was held.
Also, there was an exhibition of books and drawings about nature, fair of various fruit jams “Gifts of Nature”. Children could take part in intellectual contests about the rules of behaviour in nature, exhibition of crafts and drawings and master class “Beauty with own hands.” On the site “Eco-backpack”, everyone could show the knowledge necessary for a young tourist: setting a tent; packing an eco-backpack; identifying species of plants, mushrooms, and berries.
The eco-festival “Awakening” named after the First Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Gulyaev is conducted in order to attract the attention of the population to the environment protection and conservation of flora and fauna.
