Today, trees were planted in Altai. The President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, members of the delegation, which included the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic, Farid Abdulganiev, planted young cedars on the territory of the memorable sign “Altai – the heart of Eurasia”. The memorial sign was made in Tatarstan and transferred to the Republic of Altai as a gift in 2006 in honour of the 250th anniversary of the voluntary joining of the Altai people into Russia.

LLC Mehuborka Yugo-Vostok will compensate damage to the environment in the amount of 810 thousand RUR. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan refused to satisfy the complaint against the decision of the Leninogorsk City Court.

Administrative fines for a total of 700 thousand RUR. Such a punishment will be incurred by Transneft-Prikamye for violations of environmental legislation. The final stop in the decision of this issue in favour of environmentalists was put by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The administrative case was initiated by the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan as early as 2014.
