Schoolchildren are for the ecology! Buinsk pupils collected 180 kg of batteries
180 kilograms of used batteries. Such is the contribution of Buinsk schoolchildren to the collection of recycled materials, organized in the republic within the framework of the republican campaign “EcoSpring 2019”. The removal of chemical sources of current for recycling is provided by the company “Duracell Russia”. The organization is implementing a pilot project in Tatarstan to create an integrated infrastructure for collecting batteries. The first stage of the campaign is implemented among 300 general educational organizations of the republic - these are schools of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Buinsk, Aznakaevo, Arsk, Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk.
Let us recall that by the end of 2018, 11 tons of batteries were handed over for processing, results of the EcoSpring 2019 will be announced in June.
