“Our task is to prevent a negative impact on the environment.” Visiting meeting of Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan in Bavly today

Exchange of experience in the implementation of environmental measures in the field of protection of atmospheric air and water bodies. For this purpose, a visiting meeting of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Bavly today. The deputy minister of ecology of Tatarstan, Tatarstan's Chief State Inspector in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov, the heads of the territorial directorates, the head of the Executive Committee of the Bavly district Ilyas Gusairov, the deputy head of the Bavly district Rinat Khamidullin took part in the event. Fayyaz Shakirov noted that the venue of the meeting was chosen not by chance. It was this district that showed the best practices in the field of ecology. “In 2015, the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology discovered the fact of discharge of sewage with excess of the maximum permissible concentrations. Today, a lot of work has been done on the results of orders and suits in courts. Now the sewage is discharged without any excesses, and this is what supervisory activity of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan is aimed at. Our task is not to punish the offender, but to prevent negative impact on the environment,” the deputy minister said. In order to improve the ecological situation in the Bavly district in 2017, a number of other environmental measures have been carried out. In the Year of Ecology, about 2,000 young trees and shrubs were planted by the people of Bavly. According to the deputy head of the district Rinat Khamidullin, a huge amount of work was done by the residents of the district to clean up the rivers Bavlinka and Ik, as well as the improvement of about 90 springs. Also in the region, increasing popularity is gaining campaigns on the secondary raw materials collection. Fayaz Shakirov highly appreciated the environmental activities of citizens. He noted that 100% of waste collection from the population is the best practice in the country, and stressed that work in this direction should continue in the future.
