Innovations in the field of climate, water technologies and industrial safety are the main topics of the upcoming All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A. I. Shchepovskikh "Industrial ecology and safety". The event will be held within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum-2024 at the Kazan EXPO exhibition site on August 27, 2024.

From January 1 to July 26, 2024, 17 automatic air pollution control stations of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan performed more than 2.513 million measurements, including five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan performed more than 771 thousand measurements.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a solemn summing up and awarding of the leaders of the federal environmental program "School of Recycling: Electronics" of the Fund for Rational Environmental Management. The authorities, budgetary institutions and schoolchildren who have made the greatest contribution to the collection and disposal of electronic waste, as well as environmental education and enlightenment, received commendations and valuable prizes.

An environmental campaign for the charitable release of sterlet juveniles was held in the village of Betki in the Tukayevsky district. The juveniles were delivered from the fish hatchery in the Nizhny Novgorod region using a special transport, the equipment of which allows maintaining the necessary conditions for the life support of fish in containers.
