The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of SIBUR and jointly with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, is launching the practical implementation of a pilot project for the reconstruction of forest plantations along the Kazanka River. This project is a new stage in the comprehensive scientific and research work on the ecological rehabilitation of water bodies, which has been underway since 2022.

Earlier, the Ministry received an appeal from residents through the People's Control system about a landfill in Naberezhnye Chelny.

On the eve of the Teacher's Day, a teacher's museum was opened at the Alyoshkin-Saplyk school named after Vasily Dementiev (the founder of the education system in the AlyoshkinSaplyk rural settlement, the father of twice Hero of Socialist Labor, recipient of nine Orders of Lenin and Stalin Prize laureate, USSR Aviation Minister Peter Dementiev). The idea belongs to the graduates of the school.

Since the beginning of the year, the Republican Public Environmental Reception has received 4,961 applications from Tatarstan citizens, 4,458 (89%) of them have already been resolved.

Today, veterans of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan visited a unique eco-farm located in the Shumbutsky forest. This trip, which was attended by 35 veterans of the department, was organized specifically for the Day of Kindness and Respect.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in Almetyevsk and Arsky districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Southeastern and Northern departments of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Experts from the VTsIOM Analytical Center, together with the Federal Agency for Water Resources, summed up the results of a survey of Russians on the topic of water resources. According to the respondents, the topic of water is among the top 3 most pressing environmental issues, along with air quality and waste. The issues of the state of water bodies are by a wide margin ahead of the problem of forest depletion.

Earlier, inspectors of the Priiksky department discovered a violation of environmental legislation as part of the monitoring of Aznakaevo. Environmentalists have identified unauthorized waste storage on Almetyevsky Trakt Street.

Inspectors of the Kama Department traditionally visited veterans and thanked them for their many years of work, experience and professionalism in the field of nature protection.

The III All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum will be held in Chelyabinsk on October 14-15, 2025. The Republic of Tatarstan will be represented in the final of the competition by the Eco-heritage team with the Clear Sky project.
