More than 7 thousand notifications on environmental violations in the past academic year. Results of contest “School eco patrol” were summed up in Kazan today. The solemn ceremony of rewarding the winners gathered the most active schoolchildren of the republic who, following the results of 2016-2017 academic year, found the largest number of unauthorized dumps. The best in the third season of the environmental project were students of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Cheremshany, Spassk and Yutaz districts. “The popularity of the contest “School eco-patrol” increases every time.
On October 7 in Tatarstan the results of the III republican contest “School Eco Patrol” will be summed up. This year among the participants there are kids who scored more than 1000 points. The greatest activity was shown by students of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Cheremshan, Spassk, and Yutaz districts.
The issues of “wild” quarries reclamation and the extent of water protection zones of small water bodies were discussed today at the meeting with citizens of Bavly. The meeting with the residents of the city and the district was conducted by the Tatar environmental interdistrict prosecutor Ilsur Gilmutdinov and the deputy minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chief State Inspector of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov.
