Discussion of the issues of eco-awareness, workshops on manufacturing of pieces from secondary raw materials, excursion to the lake “Aktashsky dip”. In these and other events the teachers of the Almetyevsky district took part during the seminar “Ecological education of schoolchildren within the framework of a village school”.

To draw the population's attention to the issues of the republic's ecology and find ways to solve them. With this aim the republican scientific and practical ecological conference of schoolchildren “Ecology, city and us” was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 180 schoolchildren and teachers from all over the country participated in the event, who presented their research work in the following sections:

The application for the national award in the field of ecology and geography “Crystal Compass” was launched. Nominees can be citizens of the Russian Federation and other countries, creative unions, domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises that have implemented projects in the field of geography and ecology, preservation and promotion of natural and historical and cultural heritage in 2017.

Today in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT it was talked about the Volga rehabilitation project. According to the instruction of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation together with 15 Russian regions has formed the passport of the priority project “Conservation and Prevention of Pollution of the Volga River” (abbreviated name “Volga rehabilitation”. In this connection, an interdepartmental working group was created for the development and the implementation of the regional priority project for the Volga rehabilitation.

“The experience of previous years shows that this project is an effective tool in attracting citizens' attention to environmental issues, – said Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. – The clear and deep look of the younger generation, their vision and different form of presentation is an excellent way to convey information for different age categories.

It has started receipt of applications for participation in the city stage of the All-Russian contest “My Little Homeland: Nature, Culture, Ethnicity”. The organizers of the contest are the Kazan City Education Department and the City Children's Ecological and Biological Center together with environmental organizations. It can be participated by students of educational organizations of Kazan aged 12 to 18 years, showing interest in studying and preserving the natural and cultural heritage of their small homeland.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the start of the republican contest ECOleader. The most eco-friendly enterprises and educational institutions whose task is to teach how to care of nature, public figures who are not indifferent to environmental problems and, of course, journalists who during the year became real assistants to the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, are invited to participate.

International Conference “Underground Waters – 2017” will be held on November 23-25, 2017 in Yessentuki. The event is organised by the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the International Association of Hydrogeologists, the Geological Center of St. Petersburg State University, the Eurasian Union of Subsoil Use Experts.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the government authorities of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use, the State Commission on Mineral Reserves, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the heads of large companies - subsoil users, scientific and scientific-production hydrogeological organizations, leading Russian geologists and foreign specialists.

The Open Day in the videoconference mode for entrepreneurs of small and medium business was held today in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main topics of discussion were: reporting on the formation, use, neutralization and disposal of waste formed in a result of economic and other activities. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology answered questions of entrepreneurs.

A number of measures to improve the quality of gas treatment plants were made according to the requirements of ecologists in the Chelny enterprise Les Service. According to the instructions of the inspectors of the Prikamsky Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the company has improved the quality of the gas-dust collecting unit and the sealing of joints and assemblies.
