Different themes, one goal. Republican scientific and practical ecological conference of schoolchildren “Ecology, city and us” in Naberezhnye Chelny

To draw the population's attention to the issues of the republic's ecology and find ways to solve them. With this aim the republican scientific and practical ecological conference of schoolchildren “Ecology, city and us” was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. More than 180 schoolchildren and teachers from all over the country participated in the event, who presented their research work in the following sections:
- “Ecological study of territories”
- “Ecology and health”,
- “Ecology of plants”,
- “General Ecology”
- “Ecology of the city”,
- “Ecology of water",
- “Ecology of animals”.
The participation of schoolchildren in the scientific conference was supported by specialists of the Prikamsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. They noted that environmental activities allow students not only to demonstrate their research work, but to exchange experiences on studying and protecting the environment. According to Vladimir Muzafarov, the leading specialist of the Prikamsky administration, such conferences also influence the formation of ECO culture in the younger generation. “All participants are schoolchildren interested in environmental issues, so they will not go against nature,” he said. According to the organizers of the event, this year the number of participants has increased, as well as the quality and content of the presented works. The interest of schoolchildren in the environment is explained by the fact that they do not stop at what they have achieved and tend to go forward, so they began to prepare for the next scientific and practical conference.
