The third ecological festival “Awakening” was held in Aksubaevo. It has become a traditional annual family holiday in the region that attracts a large number of visitors, adults and children. The event was attended by specialists from the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan launched the national contest “Ecology of native land”.
The contest is aimed at attracting the attention of the public and the young generation of RT to solving environmental issues of their native land. To participate, it is necessary to prepare and implement the project in the territory of the republic before September 10 of this year in one of the directions:

Before the Confederations Cup in Kazan, the modernized automatic air pollution control station, located in the Kirov district of the city (Osinovo settlement), was installed. The possibilities of chromatographic analyzes have been expanded for the following parameters: benzene, ethylbenzene, isopropyl, phenol, and styrene. “Now 16 automatic stations for atmospheric air pollution control are installed in the republic,” Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, said.

The draft federal law “On Amending the Federal Law “On Hunting and Preservation of Hunting Resources and on Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”, containing such requirements, is posted on the portal of the legal information www.regulation.gov.ru.

Today, the “Open Day” organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held throughout the Republic of Tatarstan. “Such events enable to interact even more closely with the population and understand exactly which issues are of concern to residents of Tatarstan.

Today, on the Kazan CHPP-3 was launched the most powerful gas turbine plant in Russia. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the construction of a new unit is a unique project that will significantly improve the economic parameters and become more competitive in the electricity market. Currently this is the only in Russia plant with such parameters and capacity.

Today the meeting of the Committee on combating corruption was held in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of Rustem Kamalov, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In Naberezhnye Chelny a large-scale environmental action was carried out to clean the coastal territory and the bottom of the Melekeska River. Competitions in sports underwater hunting, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Russian DOSAAF, started on ​the Volga River, near the village Zaimishche. The organizers of the event are the Federation of Underwater Activities of the Republic of Tatarstan, DOSAAF RT, LLC “Maritime Assembly of the Republic of Tatarstan”, together with the administration of the Kirov and Moscow districts of Kazan. With a salutatory word, the head of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilham Sabirov addressed the participants of the competition.

On June 17, 2017 Elabuga will see an ecological fest for children. In the Park of Culture and Rest Shishkinsky ponds of Elabuga there will be organized cognitive games and quizzes, where children can learn much interesting about rare species of animals, protected territories of the Republic of Tatarstan. For those who like to paint, there will be a drawings contest in various categories: “Nature of Your Home”, “Your Favourite Animal”, “Spirit of Nature”, etc., and competition of drawings on asphalt.
