Large-scale action to clean banks of Melekeska River in Chelny

In Naberezhnye Chelny a large-scale environmental action was carried out to clean the coastal territory and the bottom of the Melekeska River. Here a photo exhibition of the Russian Geographical Society was organized. As noted by the head of the Prikamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Garipov, the event had enlightening nature: “Schoolchildren, students, volunteers took part in the action. Environmental education is one of the priorities in the activities of the Ministry of Ecology.”
The action was organized by the local branch of the Russian Geographical Society in Naberezhnye Chelny jointly with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the near future such events will be held in Kazan and Chistopol.
