The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov met with representatives of the company“TechEngineeringGroup” LLC that provides a complex of engineering and consulting services aimed at development of projects for the startup of production lines on processing of plastic material, as well as processing and recovery of production and consumption waste. The possibilities of implementation of innovation technologies on processing of production and consumption wastes in the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed during the meeting.
The concluding meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held on December 27. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov summarized the activity of the Ministry. Moreover, the report on the results of work of the Public Council in 2013 was heard, and suggestions for the year 2014 were made.

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participates in the reporting Conference of the National Federation of Rowing and Canoeing that is held in Moscow. As a reminder, in October 2013 Artem Sidorov was elected President of the National Federation of Rowing and Canoeing of the Republic of Tatarstan. All in all, 12 issues are on the agenda of the Conference, including the report of the Federation Presidium for 2012-2013 and discussion of the main provisions of rowing and canoeing development program for 2014-2016.

The briefing devoted to the results of the activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013, as well as the results of the Year of Environmental Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a raid on examination of the water area of the river Kazanka together with specialists of the Federal Public Establishment, State Inspectorate for Small Vessels under the Ministry for Emergency Situation of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Municipal beautification” in order to reveal unauthorized discharge of waste waters into the water facility and littering of the coastal territories in the framework of regional surveillance in the field of use and protection of water facilities.

Today, pupils of secondary school No. 82 of Kazan were told about the problems of ecology in Russian and in English. An ecological and educational campaign “Lesson of cleanliness” was held by the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Principal State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Nature Protection Ramil Nizamov. In the course of summarizing the results of the Year of Ecological Culture and Environment Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan, he reminded about ecological campaigns “Green record”, “Day of cleaning of water bodies” and “Green Russia”, where pupils and teachers of school No. 82 took active part. Pieces of work of the participants of the Open Republican Youth Contest of Social Ecological Advertisement “Clean view” were shown to pupils.

On December 10, 2013 the information was received by the North Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on fumigation in the area of SDW landfill of Arsk. Inspectors of the Territorial Department that came to the site revealed spontaneous combustion of wastes at this landfill.
The protocol with regard to this fact was drawn against the Head of “Zhilcombytservis” OOOsubject to Article 8.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Incompliance with ecological requirements in urban development and operation of companies, constructions or other facilities”.
On December, 2013 ecological and educational campaign “Lesson of cleanliness” will be held in secondary educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year the Lesson of cleanliness will be held for the fourth time and it will tell about the most considerable events of the Year for Ecological Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, the “Safety” section of the platform “Ecological and food safety” took place at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held in the framework of the Republican Youth Forum – 2013. The following people took part in the meeting that was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov: Head of the “Safety” section of the Republican Youth Forum – 2013, Principal State Inspector for Road Traffic Safety for the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the State Budgetary Establishments “Scientific Life Safety Center” Roza Akhmadieva, specialists of the Republican Youth Forum – 2013, authors of the projects of “Safety” section in the field of “Ecological and Food Safety”.
The meeting of the Committee of the State Council on Ecology, Management of Natural Resources and Agricultural Matters was held at the State Council of the Republic of the Republic of Tatarstan. Several issues, including the issue regarding clean water and the state of springs in the Republic of Tatarstan were proposed for consideration, in particular, impact of production and consumption wastes on them. Moreover, plans for work of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Ecology, Management of Natural Resources and Agricultural Matters for 2014 were mapped out.
