The competition for the All-Russian Award “Ecological development — Evolution Awards 2014”

Applications for the II International contest for procuring of the All-Russian Award“Ecological development— Evolution Awards 2014” are accepted until November 15, 2014. The contest is held by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation with information supportof the portal Greenevolution.ru. The information can be sent in printed or electronic form at the following address: 119017, Moscow, Staromonetnyper., 31, FSBE“Central Information Bureau under theMinistry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation”or at konkurs@greenevolution.ru, marked asfollows: “Contest for procuring of “Evolution Awards 2014”.
The Award will bebestowed to Russian and foreign companies, as well as individuals for achievements in the field of “green” technologies and in the field of sustainable development.In order to determine laureates of the Award“Ecological development – Evolution Awards – 2014”, a contest will be organized, and it will consist of 5 categories:
- Best solution in the field of “green” technologies;
- Best private initiative in the field of “green” technologies;
- Best manufacturer of ecologically efficient equipment;
- Best manufacturer of alternative energy;
- Best complex solution in the field of “green” technologies.
The contest is aimed at encouragement of individuals and legal persons implementing “green” technologies, as well as identification of the trends of developmentof the “green” technologies market.

The winners will be awarded in the beginning of December2014.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
