A zonalseminarwasheldintheframeworkoftheWorldDayofWaterResourcesatschoolNo. 18 ofAlmetyevsk. Intheframeworkofpreparationforatwo-monthsanitaryandecologicalcampaignforcleaningofterritoriesoftheRepublicofTatarstanorganizedbytheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstanstartingApril 1st, zonalmeetingsareheld with participation of municipalities regardinginspection of readiness for the campaign. DeputyMinister – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of nature protection, Ramil Nizamov, held meetings today in Alekseevsk Municipal District and Chistopol, and representativesof Aksubaevo, Alkeevsky, Spassk andNovosheshminsk districts of the Republic also participated in the event.The following issues were discussed in the framework of the event:

The International Day of Forests or the World Forest Protection Day is celebrated today. By the decision of the UN General Assembly, as of 2013 this holiday is officially celebrated on March 21st.

An event devoted to the International Forest Day was carried out in Aznakaevo at the subsidiary of the State Autonomous Professional Educational Establishment “Leninogorsk Polytechnical College”. Topical contests and quizzes were held to deepen and generalize the knowledge on forest as a part of biosphere. Experts of the Priikskoe Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstanparticipated in the event. During her speech, a leading specialist Elza Valieva turned everyone’s attention to approaching spring and summer period and reminded the rules of behavior out in the forest.

-       “On the threshold of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”;

The III district research-to-practice conference “Through search and creative work to perfection” was held at a secondary school of Verkhny Arbash of Kukmor Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Experts of the Central and Northern Territorial Departments under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the event.

Today, DeputyMinister – ChiefStateInspectoroftheRepublicofTatarstaninthefieldofEnvironmentProtection, RamilNizamov, held meetings in Zainsk, where representatives of Sarmanovodistrict also took part, as well as in Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelnywith participation of representatives of Agryz, Aktanysh, Mendeleevsk, Menzelinsk, Tukaevo, Mamadyshmunicipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, and in Elabuga.

A holiday devoted to the World Day of Water Resources was held today in Kazan at nursery No. 84 “Yashlek”. The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. A leading specialist of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations, Elena Gilmizyanova, organized contests, quizzes and interactive games for children.

Experts of the Trans-Volga Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the event. The conference is aimed at improvement of education of pupils in the field of ecology, motivation of school work in the direction of development of ecological culture, enhancement of the level of general, communicative and research competence.

Pupils’ conference was held in the following sections:

-        ecology of the motherland;

-        environment and human health.
