Students of the faculty of biology were told about the system of ecological and analytical control

The students of the Faculty of Biology and Soils of the Kazan Volga Federal University were familiarized with the activity of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The tour around the departments was arranged by the laboratory specialists. The event aims at familiarization of the students of specialized faculties of higher and secondary educational establishments with work of the nature protection authorities. Fellow workers demonstrated operation of the chromatographic complex designed for qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic and non-organic gasiform, liquid and some solid samples, various natural and industrial objects by gas chromatography. They were also told about sampling and analysis of natural and sewage waters, soils, air and industrial discharges, they were familiarized with physical and chemical analytical methods, biotesting and hydrobiological research methods. The event is aimed at training of qualified personnel in the field of nature protection and assurance of the possibility for the to undertake an internship under the guidance of the leading specialists of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control.
