“71% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water: oceans, seas, lakes, rivers and ice. Approximately 96.5% comes from salt water that is unsuitable for agriculture and drinking”, the specialists of the Zakamskiy Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan began their story about the significance of water. They conducted an eco-lesson “Water and We” for 6-graders of Sarmanovskiy secondary school. During the lesson, environmentalists told the children about the water resources of Tatarstan: Arkhiereiskiy Lake, Kaban Lake, Golubye Lakes, the Kama, Vyatka and Volga rivers.

A large dump in the territory of one of the Kazan enterprises was discovered by inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a helicopter fly-around. The fact of unauthorized storage was recorded in Privolzhskiy district on Yuzhno-Promyshlennaya Street. The organizers of the dump littered 112 sq.m of land, landfill volume was 26 cubic meters.

4 days in the Crimea to share experiences. 3 volunteers who distinguished themselves within the framework of the Republican school of activists of the ecological movement “Will be clean” met with their Crimean colleagues. The most environmentally friendly enterprises, educational institutions - whose task is to teach to take care of nature, social activists who are not indifferent to environmental problems, and, of course, journalists who, during the year, became real assistants to inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, are invited to participate.

Mining of common minerals in the Baltasinsky district is carried out in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation. This was reported by inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan based on the results of a joint raid with representatives of the Executive Committees of rural settlements. Verification of fulfillment of conditions for extraction of mineral resources was carried out by ecologists at 7 quarries (used for own needs), the territory was examined using a quadcopter.

The ceremonial summing up and awarding of the winners will be held in December 2018.
