To date, during Operation Clean Air, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Interregional Territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor in the Volga Federal District, have checked 1,936 vehicles.

As we wrote earlier, the issue of unauthorized landfills is the most popular among the environmental issues of concern to the population of the republic. A special place here is given to the maintenance of territories directly adjacent to residential areas.

Since the beginning of the year, the Republican Public Environmental Reception has received 5,191 appeals from citizens.

From July 13 to 19, in the Zelenodolsk district and in Kazan exceedances of the permissible concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the atmospheric air at AAPCS-1 (Osinovo village) and in and AAPCS-5 (Kazan, I. Shakirov ave. 3) were recorded.

About 50 thousand rubles was the damage caused to the Tyulyachka river as a result of the discharge of untreated wastewater from the treatment facilities of Chista LLC. The violation was revealed by specialists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology in February this year.

Another effective indicator on the account of the sanitary and ecological two-month period. Another unauthorized landfill identified by environmentalists in May has been eliminated.

The II All–Russian student Environmental Festival "Yashel Adym - Green Step 2024" started in Almetyevsk. Here, on the basis of Almetyevsk State Technological University "Higher School of Petroleum", 120 students from Tatarstan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara Region, Stavropol Territory, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Ivanovo, Volgograd, Novosibirsk regions, Crimea and Udmurtia joined together.
