In Tatarstan, work continues on the implementation of environmental protection measures funded by environmental payments to the local budget. The events are formed within the framework of agreements concluded between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committees of the districts.

Earlier, during the monitoring of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district, inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Department recorded violations of environmental legislation. In the village of Staroe Baryshevo, environmentalists identified an unauthorized landfill with an area of 5,000 square meters, and in the village of Kuibyshevsky Zaton they found an accumulation of waste with an area of 1,000 square meters.

The liquidation of the facilities was included in the list of environmental protection measures that are implemented through environmental payments received by the budget of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. As of today, work on the disposal of landfills has been completed.

It should be recalled that the receipt of environmental payments to the district budget makes it possible to restore and protect natural areas. Thanks to these funds, it is possible to implement projects to protect the environment and improve environmental well-being, which corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project "Environmental well-being".
