In 2022, the Republic of Tatarstan took 1st place in terms of environmental indicators in the ESG-rating (a set of principles of environmental, social and corporate governance) among the subjects of Russia.

Inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental lesson "Nature in Art" for students of the Arsk Children's Art School.

Inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the monitoring of Nizhnekamsk identified two unauthorized snow dumps near the grocery market on Byzova st. and next to the house on Byzova st., 6.

An open lesson on the study of traffic rules was held in kindergarten No. 62 "Tirek" of the Nizhny Maktama village of Almetyevsk. Ecologists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan also came to visit the kids. They told the children what exhaust gases are and how cars pollute the environment. Laboratory specialists demonstrated an air sampling device and the principle of its operation. In addition, everyone could try on the role of an ecologist and take air samples with the help of a sampler.

Unauthorized storage of snow was discovered by inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan during monitoring of the Mendeleevsky district.

Ecologists of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told the pupils of the kindergarten "Solnyshko" of the Buinsky district how to make a bird feeder with their own hands from improvised materials and what they should be.

At the moment, in order to respond promptly, the Ministry has selected a place for the installation of an automatic air pollution control station – AAPCS.

Specialists of the Ministry, with the involvement of a mobile environmental laboratory, organized about 50 trips for sampling atmospheric air, including with the participation of residents of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere".  The results of the analysis and the work carried out jointly with the interregional department of Rosprirodnadzor were told to journalists today at a press conference in Tatmedia.

Specialists of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told students of Lyceum No. 2 in Chistopol how to protect nature and preserve ecology. Students listened to the inspectors with special interest and asked their questions. And with the help of game exercises and tasks, children learned how to reduce their ecological footprint and learned how to sort waste.

Rosvodresurs held the first meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulation of the operation modes of reservoirs of the Volga-Kama cascade this year. The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic Alexander Shadrikov and a representative of JSC Tatenergo.
