In March, the Republican youth creative contest of public speeches in the style of TED "Nature and Me" began. It is aimed at developing public speaking skills and drawing attention to environmental issues in the Republic of Tatarstan.  The competition "Nature and Me" is held in two stages. From March 15 to April 15, the first stage is taking place – accepting applications for participation. From April 20 to 30, the second stage will take place – a face-to-face performance of the participants who have passed the selection. Young people between the ages of 14 and 35 can take part. On the World Water Resources Day in Kazan, an ecological and educational campaign "With water on first-name terms" was held in the Koltso shopping mall. As part of the eco-campaign in the shopping and entertainment complex, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan held an open eco-lesson, where they told all participants why it is important to protect water resources, demonstrated experiments on determining water quality indicators and presented memorable gifts.

In the Almetyevsk district, under the leadership of the EMERCOM of Russia, a command and staff exercise was held to work out issues of emergency situations arising as a result of wildfires, protection of settlements, economic and social infrastructure facilities from forest fires, as well as accident-free admission of spring floods. The event was attended by inspectors of the South-Eastern TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Russian Emergency Situations System and representatives of other ministries and departments.

On March 23, at 9:30, a training seminar on working in the federal state information system for accounting and control of waste management of hazard classes I and II (FGIS OPVC) will be held for representatives of local self-government bodies and waste educators of the Republic of Tatarstan. The webinar will be held by representatives of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Federal Environmental Operator". Employees of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan will also take part in a video conference.
