Prompt reaction of ecologists prevented major damage to nature

A criminal case has been instituted against "black" diggers. Illegal extraction of sand was revealed by the inspector of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the inspection on the Apastovsky district. Environmentalists noted unlicensed extraction of sand in the village of Azbaba, using a hydraulic excavator and a truck dump. The total amount of the stolen was 462 m3, the area - 154 m2, the depth of seizure - 3 m. Thus, the diggers caused damage to natural resources in the amount of 78,540 rubles. This fact is a violation of environmental legislation under Art. 7.3. Part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Use of subsoil without a license for the use of subsoil". In addition, the "black" diggers violated Art. 158 p.1. of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft, that is, the secret theft of someone else's property"). A criminal case was opened. The person illegally mining sand will be held accountable by the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Administration, together with the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Apastovsky District.
