Tatarstan hosted ecology lesson for children with disabilities

The ecological lesson was held at the Kazan Children’s Railway. Children with disabilities under the trusteeship of the Charity Foundation “Strength in Children” and the Rehabilitation Center “LOGOS” made ECO travel on the train. Together with the specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the team of the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Salikhov, the kids drove from Molodezhnaya station to Lake Izumrudnoye and back. On the way, they studied the natural resources of the native land, took part in environmental games and quizzes. The importance of such events in the environmental education of children was noted by Damir Valiullin, the head of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. He said that the environmental lessons held at the Kazan Children’s Railway have already become a tradition, and are always carried out in a special mood and with a particular warmth. The participants of such events are the kids who need more support and attention, so the ecological lesson for them is a real holiday.
Children’s environmental activities in the Republic of Tatarstan are conducted with the aim of promoting environmental knowledge among the younger generation. ECO fests for children have already been held in Yelabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk and Naberezhnye Chelny. The next educational and entertaining event will be held on August 30 in Kazan in the Central Park of Culture and Rest named after Gorky.
