620 trees and shrubs planted in Muslumovo in Year of Ecology and Public Spaces

620 young pines, spruce, willows and acacias. Within the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces, on the embankment “Sunny Ik” people of Muslumovo opened a new alley. Ecological action on landscaping of the territory in Muslyumovo has already become a tradition. Previously the volunteers created alleys of acacia trees and smashed flower beds on the shoreline of the Ik River. The contribution of the villagers to the preservation of natural resources of the native land was appreciated by specialists of the Priik territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Environmentalists noted that the Muslyumovo residents are actively involved in the improvement of the embankment of “Sunny Ik” for the second year already. This year more than 6000 thousand people united in environmental protection activities. In addition to planting trees and bushes, the villagers also cleaned the shore of the reservoir, removing 1,600 cubic meters of garbage. As the participants noted, the environmental event allowed not only to improve the territory of the native village, but also involved all residents of Muslyumovo in public activities.
