Applications for participation in contest “Best in profession: environmental educator” are accepted until August 30
Employees of state nature reserves and national parks are invited to participate in the contest “Best in profession: environmental educator”, organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation in conjunction with the organization “Ecological Education Center” Reserves and the National Fund “Wild Country”.
The contest is held in 6 categories:
- “Care for the future” – for effective environmental education work with children (including the organization of children's environmental camps and expeditions, work with young naturalists, conducting thematic classes, clubs of “friends”);
- “To see and save” – for the best work on development of educative tourism as a factor of effective environmental education and preservation of natural and cultural heritage in specially protected natural areas;
- “Volunteers are our support” – for effective involvement and organization of volunteer work in specially protected natural areas;
- “Territory of cooperation” – for active work with the local population and assistance to social and economic development in the area of influence in specially protected natural territories;
- “Innovations in environmental education” – for the development and implementation of new effective educational programs, methods, strategic approaches in the field of environmental education in specially protected natural areas;
- “On the reserved wave” – for effective work with the media, maintaining an official website, and activity in social networks.
To participate, send an application before August 30, 2017 to oopt@wildnet.ru (indicating in the subject line of the letter: “Contest “The best environmental educator ").
The results of the contest will be summed up in early September. The winners will be awarded on September 29, 2017.
