Non-commercial organizations that implement social projects can participate in contest for granting subsidies from republic budget

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announced a contest for subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to non-profit organizations that implement social projects in two areas:
1) creation of conditions for improving the life quality of citizens. Within the framework of this direction, the Contest is held in the following categories:
- increasing the availability of social infrastructure facilities;
- public participation and support of citizens' initiatives in making decisions on city improvement issues;
- development of the social and cultural space of municipalities, improving the quality of leisure and access to cultural goods;
- promoting the formation of the ideology of a healthy lifestyle and creating conditions for active longevity;
- development of a system of continuous environmental education and public education, including the implementation of educational programs for horticultural partnerships;
2) development of civil and political culture. Within the framework of this direction, the Contest is held in the following categories:
- development of civil competencies, skills, and traditions of constructive dialogue in the discussion of public and political problems;
- patriotic education of youth on the basis of a rich historical heritage;
- Assistance in strengthening the institution of family and family values;
- development of civil society institutions and volunteerism.
The participants of the Contest may be non-commercial organizations registered in accordance with the procedure established by law and carrying out activities in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in accordance with their constituent documents stipulated in the Article 31.1 of the Federal Law “On Non-Profit Organizations”, at least one year before the date of the announcement of the contest.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until September 27, 2017.
