Application for participation in contest “Best in Profession: Research Associate” started

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the National Foundation “Wild country” invite employees in the field of science of state nature reserves and national parks to participate in the contest “Best in Profession: Research Associate”.
The contest is held in the following categories:
1) “Young researcher” – to participate are allowed full-time employees of federal protected areas up to 30 years with higher professional education, without the degree of candidate or doctor of science;
2) “Young Scientist” – to participate are allowed full-time staff of federal PAs up to 35 years, with Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Science degree.
3) “Advanced Scientist” – to participate are allowed full-time employees of federal PAs over 35 years with a Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Science degree;
To participate, send an application to the email address of the contest: konkurs_nauka@mail.ru no later than August 30. The application must be accompanied by supporting materials and documents, including a certificate from the Human Resources Department on the work experience in the PAs (or a certified copy of the work record book).
Competitive works are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- the presence of academic degrees and titles,
- publications,
- editorial activity,
- participation in scientific events.
The results of the contest will be announced in early September. The awarding ceremony will take place on September 29, 2017.
