The subsoil users who extract the common mineral resources on the Kama River comply with all requirements. Such results were announced by inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan after an inspection on boats, located in the Chistopol district. On the vessels, the environmentalists checked the presence of the license for the right to use subsoil. The inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department paid special attention to the presence and connection of the floating craft to the GLONASS satellite navigation base, which allows real-time monitoring the vessel location and controlling its movement. On all checked vessels this system was available. “This mechanism makes it possible not only to monitor the borders of each vessel in on-line mode, but also to control production beyond them. The absence of an apparatus can lead to damage to the interior, since there will not be a clear boundary of production on the water. The inspection showed that subsoil users follow all rules for the extraction of common mineral minerals, so they do not damage natural resources,” the inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department noted.
