Educational project “H2O” started in Tatarstan

During the summer holidays the Tatarstan schoolchildren will be able to familiarize themselves with the water resources of their native land. In the republic was launched the educational project “H2O”, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the museum-reserve “Kazan Kremlin”. The traveling exhibition will visit the educational institutions of the republic and acquaint students with the rivers that flow through the territory of Tatarstan, their features, flora and fauna. The opening of the exhibition in the lyceum named after V.V. Karpov in the village of Osinovo, Zelenodolsk district was attended by Elena Gilmizyanova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. She noted that such events play an important role in the environmental education of the younger generation. Through them schoolchildren form an idea of ​​the water resources of their native land and develop a careful attitude to the world of nature and the world around them as a whole.
