The inspectors of the Prikamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out inspection along the Melekeska river bank by bicycle. On the first day, the environmentalists surveyed the coastline from Kazansky Prospekt to the end of the G.Tukaya Embankment. They drafted a number of administrative reports on art. 8.2. Administrative Code of Russia: “Non-compliance with environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements when handling production and consumption wastes, ozone depleting substances, or other dangerous substances”. As noted by the inspectors, their main attention was given to the coastal areas where large organizations are located, since it is they are the main source of pollution. Anthropogenic impacts on water bodies cause the propagation of blue-green algae, which become toxic when decayed and can lead to the death of fish. Therefore, it is very important to carry out serious work to prevent contaminated sewage from entering the pond, the environmentalists emphasized.
The inspections will be conducted by state inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan until the end of the bike season.
