Lilac alley appeared in Kazan. Tatarstan joined the All-Russian ecological clean-up “Green Russia”

A large-scale clean-up was held today in the Victory Park of Kazan. Tatarstan joined the All-Russian action “Green Russia”. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of 15 ex-USSR republics planted a lilac alley in the park territory – “Alley of Victory and Friendship”. In total, more than one hundred seedlings of trees have been planted in the park. Today, it was decided to rehabilitate the lake in Victory Park.
The clean-up was carried out with the songs of the Second WW war years. And all those who came to the clean-up could taste the soldier’s porridge cooked in the field kitchen and receive routing sheets for the Ecological Quest “2017 Moments of Spring”. The visitors were able to take part in master classes on making of birdhouses, visited outdoor classes of artists teaching the basics of painting, the technique of oil and watercolor painting a la prima, the basics of landscape and still life, making kites, painting using Ebru technique, while the girls could also learn how to make brooches, hairpins from plastic bottles. The ancient art of folding figures from paper (origami), a contest of children's drawings on the asphalt and quiz were also held.
Mass clean-up actions were held today in all cities and regions of the republic to join the All-Russian ecological clean-up “Green Russia”. In Tatarstan, the swan is chosen as a logo of the clean-up as a symbol of nobility and purity.
