“Plant is adornment of land”. Projects on urban greening were presented by Buinsk gymnasium students at environmental conference

How are nature and man interconnected? In what condition are the water objects of the area? What is agroecology? These and other environmental issues were discussed by the Buinsk gymnasium students on the XVI regional environmental conference “Nature and Us”. With a salutatory word, specialists of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the participants. They noted the deep interest of schoolchildren in studying conservation issues and expressed their readiness to support them in the initiated case. The students of Gymnasium No. 5 presented their research work in 4 sections: “General ecology”, "Ecology of native land”, “Environment and human health”, and “Agroecology and Geography”. The projects of schoolchildren designed to improve the territory of Buinsk: creation of parks and gardens, installation of benches and arbors on the streets made of environmentally friendly materials deserved a high estimation of the jury.
