On the Day of Ecological Knowledge, Kazan schoolchildren prepared ECO presentation for kids of Derbyshkinsky orphanage

On April 15 in many countries around the world the Day of Environmental Knowledge is celebrated. On this day, the kids of the secondary school No. 173 decided to share their knowledge of nature with the children of Derbyshkinsky orphanage. Together with the teachers they sang songs, conducted interactive games and cleaned the territory of the boarding school. The event was conducted by Elena Gilmizyanova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Today we not only celebrate the Day of Ecological Knowledge, but also launch the annual All-Russian campaign “Days of environmental protection from dangers”, which ends on June 5 on the World Environment Day. Promotion of environmental knowledge and the formation of an environmental culture of the population, informing the people about the state of affairs in the field of environmental safety and the state of the environment, as well as the education and training of a citizen who can think ecologically, is a priority in the work of the Ministry of Ecology of Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The development of ecological culture today is the key to preserving the health of future generations”, Elena Gilmizyanova noted.
