Timashevsk schoolchildren ready to contribute to improvement of their village. They voiced their ideas at ecological Olympiad

Students of Timashevsk school of Leninogorsk district took part in the ecological Olympiad. The educational event for schoolchildren was held by the staff of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The desire to compete for the title of the best experts of nature was expressed by three teams: “Ecologists”, “Owners of the Planet” and “Water Patrol”. The participants of the Olympiad guessed crossword puzzles, read poems about nature, developed projects for the improvement of the environment. As noted by the event organizers, the ecological Olympiad caused deep interest in environmental issues among schoolchildren. They are ready to put their efforts in preserving the natural resources of native land. Ideas of schoolchildren for street improvement have so far been asked to be kept secret – but promised that they will be implemented in the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan.
