Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Privolzhsky District of Kazan began their visit with an unpleasant picture. As it turned out, this appearance of their own yard is created by the residents of nearby houses. They filled the adjacent ravine with garbage, and some people even throw garbage out of their windows, the bags remain hanging on the trees. Meanwhile, the container for solid waste collection is within walking distance, in the courtyard. The “laziest” residents will be brought to administrative responsibility. “Identifying the waste makers is easy by the garbage content,” said Anna Apaeva, senior specialist of the 2nd level of the Central TA of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. – For non-observance of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements when handling production and consumption wastes, discharge of waste in unauthorized places, violations of the rules of improvement and damage to lands, punishments are provided for articles 8.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of RF, Part 2 of Art. 8.6 of the Administrative Code of RF, and Art. 3.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of RT,” – she explained. Residents promised to make a cleanup very soon to bring the territory in order.
Recall, sanitary-ecological two-month period, which started on April 1, is held in Tatarstan. Within two months, the territory of the republic will be brought into a state that meets the requirements of ecological and sanitary-epidemiological safety of people. The main emphasis will be placed on identifying places of unauthorized waste disposal and their elimination. Information on identified landfills will be promptly sent to the executive committees of municipal districts for taking measures to eliminate them.
